Rodeo Week is the perfect time to lean into creativity, community, and a little western flair — and this year, Mount Lemmon Lodge is offering something extra special.
On February 15, guests are invited to a Cowboy Hat Painting & Embellishment Party, led by TJ’s Paint Parties, a Tucson-based art experience known for inclusive, beginner-friendly workshops.
This relaxed, welcoming event is designed for all skill levels and all ages. Guests will paint and decorate their own hat using acrylic paints, stencils, and fun embellishments to create a look that feels uniquely theirs. Whether your style is bold, gritty, playful, or glam-western, you’ll leave with a wearable piece of art you can enjoy throughout Rodeo Week and beyond.
All materials are provided, and the experience is intentionally low-pressure — no prior art experience required. It’s a great option for friends, families, couples, or anyone looking for a creative break from the usual Rodeo Week festivities.
