Holiday Nights Paint & Create with TJ’s Paint Parties at Tohono Chul (Tucson, AZ)

Step into the glow of Tohono Chul’s Holiday Nights and discover a cozy corner of creativity with TJ’s Paint Parties × Soulshine Creative Collective. This year, we’re bringing a Paint & Create experience designed for everyone — no art skills needed, just festive fun and open hearts.

✨ What to Expect

Between the twinkling lights and the joyful music, you’ll find our paint station open from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on three special Sunday nights.

Drop in anytime between 6:00 and 8:30 PM to begin your painting — we provide all the supplies you need to create at your own pace. Each session wraps up by 9:00 PM.

You’ll choose from simple, winter and holiday-themed designs like snowmen, gingerbread, and cozy seasonal scenes, complete with easy stencils and everything ready for you — canvas, brushes, and paint. It’s not a class; it’s a relaxed, self-guided experience where you can unwind, play, and take home your own piece of holiday joy.

💖 Pay What You Can

We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. This event follows a Pay-What-You-Can model — suggested $10–$20 donation (minimum $5) — but no painter will ever be turned away.

Your contribution supports Soulshine Creative Collective, our nonprofit dedicated to making art experiences inclusive and affordable throughout Tucson.

✨ Pre-registration is preferred to reserve your canvas in advance. Walk-ups are welcome while supplies last.

Looking for a creative gift idea? DIY Holiday Art Kits will be available for $15 each — perfect for teachers, friends, family, coworkers, or as thoughtful stocking stuffers. Each kit includes everything needed to paint at home or share a creative night together.

🌿 About Holiday Nights at Tohono Chul

This beloved Tucson tradition transforms the gardens into a winter wonderland filled with lights, live music, and local food vendors. Holiday Nights admission is required — $25 general | $20 members — and includes access to all festivities.
